Today, we went on another tour of the island for our history and culture class. We went to some caverns and mangrove areas that were where the first Bonaireans first settled. These people picked these locations based on shelter potential, food resources along with other requirements.

We then ended the tour out at the salt flats where back in the day slaves worked. The slaves would walk from Rincon to the salt flats starting on Sunday so they could get to work by Monday.
