To round out the day as well as the school week, I got to enjoy a beautiful sunset at dinner. The colors were so amazing and beautiful. It was pleasant waiting for dinner enjoying a wonderful view that was peaceful.

Punt Vierkant & Sunset
Today, we went snorkeling to do a phyla exercise for our coral reef ecology class out by Punt Vierkant. We started off by walking around the intertidal area looking for species of the ten different phylum introduced to us earlier this week. One of the things we found was a chiton, which was pretty cool. After twenty or so minutes, we then went snorkeling around the reef. While heading out to the reef saw a sea hare just chilling on some rocks. Once we made it out to the reef we saw a lot of Millepora complanata (blade fire coral), a number of different species of porifera (sponges), and a lot of sea urchins.
